At present, the enterprises that have settled in the Chipu Leather Park in Zhangpu have a national first-class sewage treatment. The investment in environmental protection facilities accounts for a considerable proportion of the total investment of the company. Last year, the county's leather industry totaled 1.49 billion yuan in sales, and paid 44.23 million yuan in taxes; 10 leather companies received 980 million yuan in financing from the financial sector.
